The truck will be north of 8k ready to tow(I was 8900 last fall) and has a GVWR of 10,000, so meeting that is out the door by 1000 pounds +/-. Rear GAWR is 6500 for most 2500's I believe. My rear axle was 3750 ready to tow last fall. Figure this one will be 3250 to 3400. It will be really tight! Pin weight loaded will be in the 3200 range +/-. This trailer appears to fall in the heavier pin weight catagory with Cardinals and Montanas.
One of the reason we choose a Bighorn was a lighter dry pin weight. The Cedar Creek 34RL was also in the running with a dry hitch weight of 2173. CC 34RE is even lower yet at 1853. OP could go look at these two models, and get a trailer with a rear cap in the process.
