Here is my actual set up
2007 Dodge 3500 SRW Quad Cab Longbed 5.9L CTD 48re auto trans with 4:10 gearing
GVWR 10,100#
GCVWR 22,500#
FAWR 5200#
RAWR 6200#
2007 5th wheel...13,873# Scaled weight
3090# total 5vr pin weight (2940# on rear axle and 150# on front axle...hitch set 2" froward of rear axle center line)
Puts me right at RAWR of 6200#
Puts me under Rear Tire Max Load Ratings of 3195#/Each----6390# Total
Puts me under GCVWR of 22,500# (21,858# scaled weight)
Puts me over GVWR 10,100#
Puts me over payload
I am not concerned with being over GVWR or payload numbers
Reason......
Payload is based on GVWR and GVWR is a warranty/registration issue.....nothing more
I could register my truck for 12,000# if I wanted to pay higher registration fees
Your 2006 has same Axle Ratings.
