Thoughts on KZ travel Trailer Toy Hauler and TV capability

Hate to say it but that TH is going to be too heavy for the Tundra and it won't be a comfortable towing experience.

They are great trucks, but like most 1/2 tons it lacks in payload. Toy haulers are notoriously heavy on the tongue and will exceed the trucks payload and receiver rating. You need a 3/4 for that size.

You might be close on weight and most likely be over especially in the payload dept. Keep in mind that TT TH trailers are very tongue heavy by design. The dry tongue weight will be around 17-20% of the overall weight of the trailer. That is substantially higher than a traditional TT. If the TH you are looking at is 6700lbs dry then your tongue will be upwards of 1300lbs. Mine dry weighs around 8500lbs or so and the tongue is sitting around 1700. That will of course go down a tad when you put the Harley in the back but still something to be aware of. The payload on your tundra might be short of what you will need especially when towing empty.

you cannot beat KZ for customer support...they build a quality product. I had an 07 Durango with the felt backed TPO issue (also on Jayco and others BTW). They rebuilt the entire roof and repaired the delam all at no cost to me eventhough I was way past warranty. Also still one of only 3 remaining with a 2 year warranty.

I'm thinking new. Dry weight is 6790, so I'm guessing that 'trip ready" with harley, I'll be pressing 10,000 lbs.

what difference does the GVW make unless you load it to that. what is the actual wet weight? older KZs has a felt backed TPO which was problematic. are you thinking new?
