x2!  Replace all 4 packs and call it good.  They're really not that expensive.  I also agree with going up in capacity.  If you're into the trailer for the long haul, add shocks at the same, time, too.  Check out the Joyrider shock kit.

Right now I am trying to see if it's still under warranty and I have looked at higher capacity they are 500 lbs axles. How hard are they to do it yourself?
I've never done springs, myself.  I'd think the hardest part might be making sure the axles were aligned properly, and not just with a string to the king pin.  :B  If you're having the suspension out, I'd replace the equalizers =and= do a wet bolt kit at the same time.  I've got a good shop that treats me well, so I'd just as soon have them do the work, if it were me.  :B
