- JEBarExplorerI use KTB's tire balancing fluid in our truck's 22.5" tires and the camper 16" G614's .... it delivers a very smooth ride, even tire wear, lifetime balancing (no need to rebalance the tires as they wear) and in every case over the last 8 years, when the tires were taken off of the rims, no sign of dry rot

FastEagle - artguysExplorerThe closest to having it right is ford truck guy...I was born and raised into the tire industry and can assure you that the bean, bag, Centra Matic and so on guys will disagree because they use these systems and they most assuredly work as promised. Not so much. You should never allow anything to be put inside the tire. The first thing that is applied when building a tire is the liner and they are not as robust as they once were. As for centramatics and wheel weights on large heavy wheel tire combinations they are placed too close to the center to have any real effect.
Because of the tire wheel combination weight, speeds traveled, suspension systems, axle configs, weight placements and overall quality of tires, balancing isn't that necessary. If lighter applications used for hi-performance vehicles were in play then balancing would be necessary. The tires being built today are far better as to needing wheel balancing than they once were.
If when they are being installed, once on the vehicle simply give them a spin to check for out of roundness..most will have some, but if any show too much ask to have them checked and or replaced...although out of round tires is a condition that for the most part no longer is prevelant it can happen.
Save your money...if you have a over riding need to spend, start a fund for all those folks out there that live full time in their RVs/Motorhomes who are having a tough go of it. - sch911ExplorerWhat's wrong with spin balancing?
- My take on this thread is that the OP does not want the regular old spin balancing done on his wheels so he is looking for an alternative solution.... Not an extra step...
- AllworthExplorer III may be slow this morning, but I don't see the point here!
- ventrmanExplorerCorrect me if I am wrong, but I do not see why you would need to do this. Once the Tires are Balanced whatever Method you use, they are balanced. Why go to the extra Expense?
