Any tire can fail if it looses air, however the OP had a monitor and said he had no indication of air lost.
Speaking of loosing things a friend lost his SSR Chevy this spring in California from behind him HR Navigator and did not know it until someone flagged him over two miles down the road. Guess there is a really bad bump in this on ramp. Local resident near the field that the SSR ended up in said it was not the first tow car to break loose there.
