Another TST user here and love it! With my rig being a long bed and the trailer being right at 42 feet, I ordered the bigger antenna a couple of months ago. Not the repeater, just the bigger antenna. The small 2" one did fine if the batteries were new, but would drop the rear wheels during hard rains due to transmitting through the mist the rig kicked up. I mounted the new antenna on top of the rear view mirror. Look closely.
