Actually its the other way around. Many RV trailer mfg may offer a LT as a upgrade option or use the LT as a OEM.
ST are a low cost tire vs the LT which is the #1 reason many trailer mfg use them as OEM. We simply dodn't see the vast amount of tire issues across the trailer spectrum after switching to a LT tire..
Check out both of our resident tire engineers Tireman9 and CapriRacer ST vs LT topics on this website and their tire blogs. There comments puts to sleep many misinfo about ST being a superior tire that gets posted on RV.net website.
