LT 265 /75 R 16 load range E
If it was my trailer I would upgrade to a similar tire that I have been using on my Duramax and other pickups for over a decade :
LT 265/75R16 load range E
weight rating is 3415 # on an LT rating criteria scale .
I happen to have been using the Michelin highway tread .
But there are 50 choices for that size on tire rack .
Another serious choice is the Bridgestone Duravis R500 in the 265/75R16E size .
The Duravis R500 has a tire weight of 51 pounds each .
Compare that to the tire weight on an ST 235 /80 R 16E of your choice .
The LT is 10% to 25 % more tire .
