The LT tire you contemplate has a much lower load carrying capacity than the ST size that came on the trailer.
OEM size: ST235/80R16 LRE: 3520 lbs.
Proposed replacement size: LT245/75R16 LRE : 3086 lbs.
Most tire companies will refuse to replace (on the trailer) tires with a lower load-carrying capacity tire than specified by the trailer maker. You can do what you want, but it may entail taking off the wheels, hauling them to the dealer for a tire change, and reinstalling yourself.
Do not expect any warranty coverage in that circumstance.
