tired of looking

we are looking at upgrading our 5th wheel next year, we are not full timers so we are looking at something price wise more the mid range. Anyway what we are looking for an have not been able to find is this
"we want a queen size bed with a night stand on each side of the bed" nightstands where we can put a clock or small reading light. we have looked at 5th wheels with and without slide outs and had no luck. Any suggetions on models you have seen that meet this criteria.
  • Titaniums that are not King Bed (KB in the model designation) have good size nightstands. No longer in production, but many good ones are for resale. High end units at a good price (but heavy).
  • We purchased a Columbus 320RS, did a test run of 4 days & just returned from a 2 month trip. We put a little over 9400 miles on it. It was not smart starting such a long trip in a new RV but all turned out well. We all have different wants/needs but DW & I love it. We do 2-3 months in FLA after Christmas & otherwise it is a week (or 3) somewhere on a lake or scenic site with grand kids or just enjoying our own company.

It has small night shelves on each side of the bed & individual reading lights on each side. The 5 ft fiberglass shower was like being home & the theater seating faces the TV. You can choose standard frig, 4 door or residential. The 320 has more storage than we could use & we never used half of the cloths we took. If you're not familiar; the Columbus is a Palomino product from Forest River. The Columbus also has other floor plans. I reviewed them for almost 2 yrs before ordering. We just wish we had done it sooner. Good luck with your search.
  • We added night stands to ours. They sit next to the bed and when we need to move the slideout we put the nightstands on the bed or in the bathroom area. We picked them up at a Walmart, they fit perfectly in the space.
  • Open Range, Arctic Fox, Jayco......some websites show pics of rigs with king size beds and no side tables. We found out, that the KING size are option, and queen size can be put in the rigs. (or vice versa)
