That info came from a Goodyear representative. We were meeting at one of his distributor's tire shops, so the distributor was present also.
That correlation was in response to the question "what will this rim hold?" It was my rim rated at 3580# with no psi stamped on it.
He was wrong - guess that's because he make tires and not wheels.
