Tires

I'm in my 4th year with my Carlisle RH's and, so far, they're holding up well. They are NOT 65 mph limited, more like +/- 80-something. I don't drive that fast, so anything > 70 mph is good for me. Even Maxxis, probably the best of the "pure" ST tires are speed rated to 65. Also, I stepped up to E-rated tires from the placarded D-rated tires. I'll run 70 psi when light, but will run 80 when heavy. The Carlisles were recommended by people I know personally at Discount and they said that the majority of DT employees were running them on their trailers with few problems. I would have preferred the Maxxis at the time, but I needed tires that day and couldn't wait for the Maxxis to be delivered from the warehouse.
