Too windy to leave...

to me it depends on the prevailing direction of the wind and the prevailing direction of the road.

Seldom do I get chance to run with a 30 mph wind blowing up the tail pipe. That makes for a nice tow.

But a 30 mph head or straight side wind, forget it for me.

If you're is uncomfortable the equipment does not matter. With all the names for the equipment, kids are probably involved and that means there is a momma bear somewhere close. Don't screw with a momma bear. Just don't let somebody get your spot. That place is awesome.

I don't have DRW, an 01 2500, towing a 32' 11,000# 5er didn't think twice about heading home form the Oregon coast with easy 30 mph gust, and a two mile section of the road open directly to the Pacific. This is one of the reasons I tow a 5er.

I would have to cancel many trips if 30 was the limit, I don't really even feel a 30mph crosswind as long as the gust spreads are small. That was on my SRW with LRE tires, looking forward to see how these LRG's do.

The important thing is to do what you are comfortable with.

If you had reservations you may want to call, many places will cancel your reservation if you miss the first night.

Sure was windy here today.

Were calling for 130kmh gust here, with 180kmh gust on places of the island, mixed with snow. Come on summer!

It was a sarcastic statement Genius. If you looked at my posts and siggy you would see that I don't go with the dually crowd.

The comment is always made that the wind does not bother a DRW truck and I always call bs. This is proof.;)
