Tool box in a long bed?
If I have a tool box or equivalent that is significantly higher than the bed rails right behind the cab of my long bed, will it cause turning issues with the trailer nose?

It really depends on your set-up. How much higher than the bed is it? And how sharp do you need to turn? Look at rhagfo's photo above, he would have to be jacking at almost 90 degrees before he would have to worry about hitting a low box. And then it would depend on bed clearance and terrain.
