You're correct, they're all junk no matter the brand and all of them are very dependent on regular prentative maintenance. You're going to have a couple feet of snow on it all winter in upstate NY. If your not dead set on that particular campground look for a cabin. Can usually be picked up for cheap even in NY if off the beaten path.
They all die a slow death eventually, Think I'd get something that appreciates, not depreciates. Cabin comes to mind for me.
