RV websites are a great source of amusing opinions/silly comments about trucking issues even where tow dollies are concerned.
We think nothing of the trucking industry using several types of tow dollies to make up a A train/etc on our highways.
Sort of an apples and oranges comparison between this kluge and a FedEx tractor pulling wiggle wagons, isn't it? The first hitch (as many states require on non-commercial doubles) on the FedEx tractor to the 1st trailer is a 5th wheel hitch, not a receiver/ball hitch, IF the dolly is considered to be a trailer. The big rig tow dollies use a pintle hitch, right?
