One important thing to note is most of us (myself included) started with SRW trucks and soon discovered it was not the best choice for a tow vehicle. You may also note that virtually NO-ONE gets a DRW, then goes back to SRW (unless they step up to a Freightliner). The posts regarding PIN WEIGHT are particularly important to you. Imagine what an insurance company would do if they found out your pin weight exceeded your truck's capacity! Do not pay attention to the thousands of RV'ers out there towing trailers your size with a 2500 or even a 3500 SRW. Then there are brakes to consider-bigger is ALWAYS better(read: safer). No my dually doesn't fit in my garage, yes it is a pain in the *** to drive in town but it is indisputably a far better choice for towing.
