Ford just released the info for the 6.7L in the new F650 and F750, now with a design life of 500,000 miles. Yes a B10 life of 500K, if you don't know what that is google it, then look up what the 6.7 cummins is
Sorry but taking a bail out from the tax payers is enough for me to avoid them, dodge, and now this new info.
Yea yea the 6.0 was a problem child, the 6.4 was choked by emissions, don't put the 6.7 the same boat. Built by a different company and has NOTHING in common with them.
Ford and GM share the same HP fuel pump and cummins will follow, they'll have to increase the rail pressure and the cp3 can't take according to the guys who build it anyway.
You want a tough truck to tow a big fiver, look into the F450 or F550. The 450 comes with a pickup truck bed, not a CC
Thanks for the personable information...but to tow 22K, one doesn't need a 450/4500, 550/5500 or a 650/6500...and at almost 66 yeas of age, me personally, I don't give a flip about achieving 500K...I won't live long enough to drive one that far and certainly don't need those trucks when a 350/3500 can tow it, and I can get all the miles out of it before I'm gone and I hit never will that "magic???" number....the F450 can't do much more , if anything as far as towing, than the Ram 3500....Ram's 3500 is as tough as the F450 in my own stupid personal opinion...
