Use the clicky provided to Fords spec sheets and use the 8200 GVWR HD package with 4800 RAWR with the 3.5 GTDI ecoboost engine.
I would look at 5th wheel trailers with 1500 dry/1800 wet pin weight with a 9k-10k GVWR max if your towing in flat country or 8k if your going to the mountains.
If your wanting a larger trailer you will have to move on up to a 3/4 ton truck. And yes you can have too much truck to do a job.
