towing 5th wheel with short bed Ford F250
I plan to purchase a Ford F250 short bed (6 3/4 foot length) and a 5th wheel. I have heard I will need a slider hitch and I have heard I do not. Does anyone have real world experience with this? thank...

I've got an older (2006) and I'm glad I have my slider. A lot has to do with the contour of the cap on the fiver. Many have the radius edges cut deeply to accommodate a standard hitch. My CC fiver doesn't have that deep of a cut.
