towing 5th wheel with short bed Ford F250
I plan to purchase a Ford F250 short bed (6 3/4 foot length) and a 5th wheel. I have heard I will need a slider hitch and I have heard I do not. Does anyone have real world experience with this? thank...

We have had two Fifth Wheel trailers; an 04 Everest and 09 Big Country. With the Everest we used the slider several times however never used it with Big Country. Again you need to look at your Cap. BTW I agree with the purchasing a 350 verse 250. The F350 will ride a little rougher empty but will not bounce a much with the trailer.
