It's not realistic to try and prove to a jury (who knows nothing about towing, weights, or why it matters) how much the rear axle of the truck weighed at the scene of the accident 3 years ago, rather then you simply failed to stop in time.
I hear this all the time about how I can be sued because I run over my 14k GVWR. I am at or under my SAE axle ratings and tow ratings.
So someone please show a court case where I would loose.
Oh and as mentioned by my fellow "Mossback" I do have proper tonnage to cover my trucks weight.
