Just to join in with the Mikes, and Russ, here is my thought on the heavy haulers. You can't truly make a SRW truck be as steady, and load worthy as a DRW. You can no doubt make a SRW more capable, by using bags, after market wheels/tires, such as memtb chose to do with his.
Now, while the popcorn is being passed around...how bout I say you can make SOME 3/4 ton trucks, more capable than a 1 ton SRW by adding the above mentioned after market products. I know...this comes at a cost higher than just buying the 1 ton in the first place...but just saying. :)
