Yeah I agree with you guys, we towed all sorts of stuff when we were younger that was very heavy and very bulky. Those trucks didn't have stability control, traction control, anti lock brakes and sorts of other safety improvements.
The 3/4 and 1 ton trucks now are just way more safe and capable than the trucks were 10 years ago let alone 20 and 30 years ago.
We get all caught up in these stickers and people get convinced after they’ve spent $60000 that they need to spend another huge sum to get a duelie. Maybe so In some cases. Just look at Big Truck Big RV. He is towing 14000 lbs with an F 450. More power to him, I get the love of big trucks but not everyone wants a DRW.
