There's no doubt a DRW provides an overall better towing experience. I don't think anyone would argue with that. It's when people say that's the only tool you can use where I have an issue. Clearly you've proven to yourself that the 2500 "tool" did just fine, in your own words.
I think people should be informed, and make informed decisions. I guess that is one thing the internet did bring.. It brought a lot of misinformation, but it also brought the opportunity to glean more information. The smart ones know how to tell the difference, and be able to make informed decisions. The lemmings, in either camp, not so much....
