Im curious what your towing and what it weighs?
I do know DRW trucks have changed over years, my fathers 2007 gmc drw only has a gvwr stating 10k lbs, while my 2016 f350 drw has a gvwr of 14k lbs and tow rating of 26k lbs. Amazing how 10 years and trucks have almost doubled in towing capacity.
