I have always thrown gears for myself but I know autos have come a long ways. I did an ebay and CL search and found a few out there. I will start looking now and that gives me quite a bit of time to find a manual with under 200k within a days drive. I feel as if I manual is more likely to stand up to the use in this case. A transmission problem while pulling my house is to be avoided.
I never really wanted a truck with hips either but I guess I better consider finding one with duall rears to.
