What does AFATG stand for? Did you mean AFBATG?
Sailun is in Sumitomo's(TBC) line up also.
What one does when moving from a ST tire to a LT tire is move from a cheap tire designed as a short life tire of 3-5 years to a tire that is designed for a life cycle of around 8 years.
Our 2004 Buick Rainier is with 50K on the clock, is still on its OEM Michelin's. A few thousand of those miles were in the winter months on other wheels and studded snow tires.
The Michelin's still have a fair amount of thread left, however I am aging them out this year and installing new tires. It has an oddball 255/60R17 size so the tire choices are very limited. I may install 245/65R17. I have never liked the mushy handling from the Michelin Cross Terrain's. Hopefully if I install Michelin Latitude Tour's I will like them better.
It drives better with the Les Schwab 245/65R17 snow tires!
