Town cable wiring

Hello, I had to replace the electrical wire that connects the 5th wheel to the truck.
Everything works fine but the power to the battery of the rig. Does anyone one knows what it could be wrong. The 5th wheel has a brand new battery. If I hook a charger to the battery is get power, if I connect it to the truck I don't. Brake, signal and electric brake work fine.
Any suggestions?

    I do.
    I get power on both boxes the hitch one and the truck bed one.
    Do you know if my battery in the rv is charged if I can get power to the junction box to find the correct wire?

    Also check with the TV running. You probably have a relay that isolates the truck's battery when not running. Sorry if this is to obvious, but sometimes those little things will bite you!

    Don is likely correct, but you can use a tester on the truck to see if the charge line has power. If it does, then you may have a connection problem on the FW wiring that you replaced.

    I checked the power at the junction box of the rv and do get 12 to 13 volts.
