Toy Hauler (MXT) ?

We're looking at a KZ MXT 303, anyone have one, if so, how do you like it?

Also, we're looking at the following:
KZ MXT 303
Coachmen 301BLDS
Hyper Lite 27 HFS

Of the three which is better? Also, which is best to be towed by a 1/2 ton?

  • Unless you're towing with a semi, you're gonna have a hard time on these forums.
I've been towing my 8000# toyhauler for 6 years now with my tundra and I've never had one issue.
If your truck is rated for it, do it, if in doubt, buy a 1-ton or a smaller trailer.
Just make sure your hitch is set up properly, your trailer brakes work properly and you have sway control and you're good to go.
  • Bud, buy what you want and try it, be safe, have fun!!!

Stop asking questions on here, its getting you nowhere.

    Enjoy!!!
  • I have seen a few folks online pulling the KZ's with the newer half-tons. My KZ was a 26 foot box - front sleeper TH. I had an 04 2500 i pulled it with. Would not have wanted much less than that pulling here in the mountains.

NONE! Did you read all the other posts of yours that people replied to that said your truck will NOT work?

Did I do something to you?

You are always so negative to my posts. Your pretty much the only one who says it can't be done.

I'm going to get the best WD, equalizer, brake controller I can buy. My truck should be able to haul the weight and as for stopping, the trailer has brakes.

I've heard of people hauling the KZ MXT 303 with an F150.

  • Which one is better? depends on your needs. We had good luck with our KZ.

As far as being able to pull with a half ton, the shortest one is 30 foot, The KZ and Coachmen are 35ish.

I would look for a shorter trailer or a bigger truck, just my opinion.
