Toy Haulers A/C ?

Greetings,

We are long time campers and have been full time for 8 years now. We are considering a change in campers and toy haulers are being considered.

We want to use that room to haul mobility carts but also serve as a "bedroom" when our destination is reached.

One question: Do most toy haulers, that have a separate garage, normally have heating and cooling in that area?

Thanks in advance.

  • Yguy is right it depends on the rig for heating and cooling.. Mine is ducted with heat and AC in the garage but I felt the need to add a second AC for the garage which we also use for a livingroom when we get to where we are going. I was able to do that because my rig has 50amp service and the garage was pre wired for AC

Even though your in Florida I wouuld still get a four seasons rig. Are you looking at Fivers or Bumper Pull?

I checked out the 32GS Amped a bumper pull with a fiver floor plan. I was pretty impressed with it...
  • ... It just depends. You need to check on each unit. Many are not as well insulated in the garage area so check on that too.
  • Yes typically its ducted from the AC and heating units in the main living area
