2000 pounds of motorcycles!! Those would be some heavy motorcycles! Youre not taking into account everything else that adds weight. Best thing to do is get weighed. Yeah, he would definitely lighten the tongue weight, but proabably only around 100 pounds with 2 big atvs or bikes from what i have heard. All depends on what he is going to put back there (if anything at times). I know he mentioned harleys. My girlfriend has a softail and it is only around 700 pounds. Dont know if he plans on hauling anything else. I have gone without toys (just camping several times). Thats what I worry about. You could always stick the toys in there just to add the rear weight though. I bought one of those sherline 2000 pound tongue scales. They work well. I cant see him being too light. The guy said he has a halfton. There is no way his payload is 2250. Youre looking at 3/4 ton sierras. Thats where your figures are wrong
