Lol! How did I know it would involve Ford. I was going to say in my last post why don't we all just get a new Ford f150. They claim to have a 3000 pound payload now. Don't believe the hype. 2000 pound payload is 3/4 ton territory and 3000 pounds is 1 ton. Someone else needs to step in here cause the thread starter is probably thinking we are crazy. Half tons just don't have the frame, suspension, or even brakes to handle those payloads unless of course they were modified. But then they wouldn't be half tons, would they? I have 2 Honda's. A vtx1300 around 700 also and a cbr900 around 430 (yes it's that light).
