Tradition and Cedar Creek Opinions

We have been looking at upgrading our current camper and I believe we have narrowed the manufacture choices down to either a Cedar Creek or Tradition 5th in the front living model.

What I would like is some opinions on the manufacturer's initial quality, any minor/major issues that may have developed over time, and how the customer service response was handled.

Thanks in advance,

Ken
  • Ours is a 2013 Cedar Creek and we have about 10K miles on it. One or two small problems but nothing too difficult to deal with. Worst problem is a leaky black valve but I have a temporary work-around for that. We are going to the CC factory (leaving next week) to get the valve fixed and tour the factory. CC people have been fantastic! I don't have the front living option but do drool thinking about it. I'm not at all familiar with the Tradition line so can't make a valid comparison. I think you would be proud to own that Cedar Creek 38FL.
  • Been pulling my Cedar Creek since 2005. The only issues we have had were dealer caused. The unit has been flawless. Wuld we like to upgrade? Yes, but being forced into retirement in 2009 that simply is not an option. Cedar Creek people have been fantastic when I have had a question or needed to order some repair parts.
