Trailer Aid Plus

Trailer Aid Plus claims the ramp will lift your tires 5.5"s.
Is this enough to get a flat tire off the ground in a 35', 5 ton, KZ 5fh wheel RV with Lippert Component spring axles?
I was also looking at the Rapid Jack.
  • Trailer Aid works very well. I used it a couple of times on my Mobile Suites 36 ft very heavy 5er. Had to put one 2x6 under it to get a better lift.
  • Easier just to use a jack in the first place. And, I have had LOTS of experience changing trailer tires
  • Like I said above, just stick a couple of boards under the ramp. If more than one is needed, stagger them so the tire first hits the ramp, then the ramp rolls up on the boards. You probably already have the boards anyway, and it works great! No need for the bottle jack.
  • Not on my fiver, but it did lift it enough to let me get a bottle jack under the axle
  • I use one similar to THIS. It works well, but sometimes I need to put a board, or two, under it to get enough height.
