Trailer Life helps perpetuate the 1/2 ton towable myth

There must be some kind of configuration where it's possible. Maybe a 2 door with HD tow package low on fuel towing the trailer without any liquids or food in it.

Also youtube and RV forums are empty of 1/2 ton trucks having trouble towing an overweight 5th wheel. I guess it may shorten the life of the truck but does not seem to cause accidents in any significant number.
