Trailer Saver hitch

We have the TrailerSaver BD3. It's the only hitch we've had and we don't have chucking. The weight of your fifth wheel will determine if you need the BD3 or TS3. Our fifth wheel is close to 14k fully loaded, full water tanks, gear etc., and the BD3 serves us well.

WE have a TS3 and switched form a rigid hitch. This hitch does a great job of taming the bad roads we see now. We are near the upper limits on the TS3, but the trailer weight will determine the minimum hitch you need.

BD3 here also, first and only fifth wheel hitch we ever had. Please advise what this chucking thing is.

We have been using the BD3 for close to three years. Had a Reese 15K that had a slide bar latch, made allot of noise, clunking and chucking. Love the BD3 with it's shocks, air bags and latching jaws. You get what you pay for. Have heard good things about the Andersen ultimate hitch but never used one.

Trailer now rides and moves with a horizontal motion instead of a teeter-totter whipping motion.
Wish someone had told me years ago ,I would of saved buying my other hitches ,but I doubt I would of listened - $3000 !!!!!!.
I have a 4000# pin and the 2 bag version is perfect any more weight I would get the 3rd bag.
As stated by oldman you need a air source,not much a small compressor will suffice.

Either buy you a Hensley air hitch or a air safe hitch.Make sure that no matter which one you buy.That it has the Binkley Holland Head. These two air hitches are the best and gives the truck and the trailer a nice smooth ride. You get what you pay for. You are buying it once and once you write the check out.And get that behind you. You will enjoy the ride. I have the 25k air safe hitch and love the ride.It has 4 air bags.

Good one! Chuckled at this, but it's true.

I have a TS3. Went from a terrible ride with a Patriot (not the Patriot's fault) to a great ride. The truck still has a semi-rough ride as though it was not towing anything but the hitch absorbs the trailer's influence. When I was looking last year Hensley had a BD1 which was the same hitch as the BD3 except different color and rating; $400 less. They are a lot of money but resale seems to hold up. Highly recommend.

We've had our BD3 for about 3 years and it does a great job. We also added Mor/Ryde "Independent Suspension IS". The air hitch gives a great ride in the truck and keeps the pin from banging into the bed of the truck and the IS keep the trailer from bouncing. The combination of the two give a good ride and protects the trailer. If you plan to put some miles on your 5th wheel the two are well worth the cost.
