Chucking, bucking whatever, it all disappeared with our BD3 we have had for 2 seasons now. I never get tired of watching the trailer moving independently of the truck. Our BD3 replaced a B&W Companion, which is a wonderful hitch, but it is just not designed to do what the Trailer Saver does and that is to provide a cushion of air between your truck and the trailer.
You're right, about the trailer moving independent of the truck. We can look back and see it moving up and down on the hitch or side to side, each way slightly, but don't feel it. As the slogan goes - "TrailerSaver - the name says it all".
An additional note on the price - we previously had a Hensley Arrow and they, Hensley, took it in trade for the BD3. Helped offset some of the cost.
