Trailer tire ratings?
Our new fiver will have a max loaded weight of 12,500. What tire rating should we be looking for on this trailer. If it isn't the "best", how long should we wait before replacing them? We mostly snow...

(sigh) OK, so looking at Tire Rack, my only options for ST 225 / 75R15 tires are Goodyear Marathon Radials and Power King Towmax. Both of these tires are made in China. Maxxis (Taiwan) also makes these tires, but they're $160 each on Amazon whereas the Marathons are currently available on Tire Rack for $89 each. Even if they're supposed to be a much better tire, it's hard to justify nearly double the price for Maxxis ... isn't it?
Here's my dilemma ... I've read enough about the Power King tires, both here and on Amazon, to think that I don't want them. But Tire Rack has an E load rated Power King ($101 each) and Goodyear only makes a D load rated. Understanding that the higher load ratings are better, if they're both made in China, am I better off getting the Power King LRE tire or the Goodyear LRD?

ETA: I just found a Hercules load rated E tire on Amazon for $93 each with free shipping. Anybody have experience with Hercules tires?
