trailer wheel weight rating/compared to tire psi rating?

My 6-bolt wheels on 5200 lb axles with oem 225/75R 15 D-rated 2540 max wt tires. My wheels are steel and are marked 2,600 max weight. My FW GVWR is 12,110, which would mean 10K max on tires/whee...

Typical pathetic oem equipment. I recommend tires and wheels that will carry the full GVWR. Probably 16" LT.

If 15" E tires are put on then certainly there are wheels that will handle the full load and pressure rating (80psi & 2830#). Expand your search beyond etrailer if needed.
