Sounds like your "electrician" is a wire puller & not an "electrician".He is thinking your rv uses 230volts & doesn't understand thr rv uses (2) 110 circuits.
My ELECTRICIAN buddy just rewired a 30a rv plug that a so called electrician wired up and when the owner plugged up his brand new motor home ,fried all the appliances.set it up like a range plug.
