travel with dog in trailer?
Anyone travel with your pets in the trailer while underway? (This assumes the trailer temp will be at a comfortable level). I'm thinking I might give it a try.

All of our pets ride in the tow vehicle.... until this year!
We have a cat, and the cat get car sick ... I mean vomiting, pooping, and basically very, very upset, and makes a horrid mess.
And yes, we tried pet carriers....
If YOU want to clean up cat vomit and cat poo from cat fur, and from the inside of a pet carrier, YOU be my guest. Not to mention the horrid smell, and when on the road, this is just awful! No more carriers, it doesn't work for the cat.
We started putting him in the camper, and he found he really liked crawling under the pillows on the bed .... until a couple trips ago, when we found vomit all over the bed, and cat poo! Back to the drawing board.
Next couple outings we just left the cat at home.
Then (I) came up with the idea of putting him in the shower with his litter pan. The shower has glass doors and locks for travel.
Problem solved! No vomit, no poo, cat seems happy, and if he does have to go, he's got his litter pan right there!
(Well it worked on 1 one week-end run anyway).... Time will tell.
Never had a pet get motion sickness like this cat does.
