We try to leave the Boston area by 5 am, and the goal is always about 500 miles, 9 or 10 hours towing. We are thru Hartford around 7, Tappan Zee around 9 ish, then it's the big push south toward Maryland, Virginia, or South Carolina.
I have an extended range fuel tank which cuts down on the number of stops during the day. We eat out of the camper usually near the end of the NJ Turnpike to eat and fuel in one stop.
