Traveling with 5er & generator
Buying a small Honda 2000i generator for traveling with the 5er. Just wondering if I can run it in the back of the truck when stopping at a rest stop or truck stop or will it set off the carbon mon...

OK Thanks all.. That was the answer I was hoping for. Run generator and not set off the alarm.
Greentow appreciate the info. May do that down the road, for now though I just plan on running a 10 or 12ga extension cord. If I tie into the power grid, I would need to get the other 2000 companion and parallel in the 4000 watts because DW would be trying to run the AC & everything else. This way it has to be plugged into the extension cord...
