Tread Separation on Maxxis M8008
Has anyone experienced tread separation on Maxxis M8008 tires? I bought 4 of them in 2010 and just replaced 2 this past weekend do to separation. I am concerned because the 2 tires in question were ...

I know they have factories there, as well as Taiwan, China and Viet Nam. I just did a search and found a post from RV.net, supposedly a quote from Maxxis, that says that (as of May, 2012) all ST production was in Thailand. Given that the tires in question here were 2010 production, I doubt that they were made anywhere else. I simply think that more and more are showing up on the road and that's why we're starting to see reports of failures. Bet the =percentage= failure rate hasn't changed at all. I know I was surprised as hell when I had the BFG Rugged Trail TAs on my truck separate, so even a supposedly good tire company can have an issue. FWIW, they're the only BFGs I've ever had fail.
