I think you were thinking about the amount of truck squat
with the 5ver attached... 3" seemed about what I recall most
of the heavier (mine) 5ver's causing. I have measured 7" clearance
from rail to 5ver overhang... there have been one or two occurances
where I wish I had more...but no contact to date. Once I forgot what
I was doing (more common as I age), cleared the front wheels over a Park
entrance speed hump (not bump), then gunned it, the back wheels hit
the bump on acceleration and , well , as you can imagine...
I got the mal de ojo from the Princess.
In the rear view saw the Rangers flinching.
