Truck bed cover....

I've had Access low profile roll up covers on my last 3 trucks. Can't see any reason to go to anything else!

Suggest the pace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit as well. Haven't yet hit the rails and can see my hitch plate when backing up. In addition, it's very secure.

Been using a Truxedo for 3 years now full timing. Works great.

I have a Retrax. No clearance issues. But it does use a lot of bed space in the front, even in my long bed.

It locks anywhere along the rail. How hard it locks is adjustable, and it is really just a cone-point set screw that dogs down into the underside of the rail. It stays where I lock it if I do my part on the adjustment. The full closed/locked position is more positive.

I hitch up, roll it up to within a couple inches of the pin box, and lock it down. Keeps stuff in front of the hitch dry and out of the wind.

As someone mentioned, I did have to modify my Reese release handle, but I would call that an improvement anyway. The stock handle sticks up way too high

X2 on the Retrax cover, its been working great for me.

I just tonight installed a tri-fecta tri fold. No rails, it just clamps under the bed rail and easily folds up, and the 5th wheel hitch is completely covered when not in use

We have a RolBak G2. Locks about every 6". We did as BB_TX stated, and cut the pin box at a 45 degree angle, to avoid any problems with tight turns on uneven ground.

I have a Truxedo roll up cover. I like it a lot. The support bars roll up with it, so it's very easy to use. I've had a lot of different roll up covers over the last thirty years, and this is my favorite one. When I get a new truck, I will get another.

It's flat when on the bed, it's not bowed up like some. So if you think you will need the extra space under the cover, this might not be your cover. But it has a lot of clearance to my hitch.
