Truck Bed Tool Boxes and 5ers
Any of you have a truck bed tool box that sits OVER/ON TOP of truck bed? I sure would like to have a truck bed tool box that opens from each side of truck...makes it easier to get to stuff in box...

How much bed rail clearance do you have?
6-8" is norm
If box sticks up that high you will make contact when maneuvering.....
Backing in to a site or hard turns right/left going forward unless you have a slider hitch.

Worse than having a Short Bed!! You are best to keep it below the bed rails, the over the rails just chew up the rails. If you want a cap when not towing the 5er you can put one on or a bed cover.
