X2, and the fuel is normally cheaper too at RV friendly gas stations. Never understood why the truck stops are higher, at least in California they are. See no reason to stop at the truck stops unless they're the only option

If the RV lane is open I will take it or if the outside pumps are available and there is a easy exit. BUT they are not always the best option. Towing my 41' 5er it gets tight and especially when i am towing my MotorCycle trailer it will be the truck lanes for me. No backing that combo up.

Also if you need DEF it's a breeze to fill at the truck lanes.

As they say it DEPENDS !

The convenience of having enough room to pull in and fuel without having to complete an obstacle course trumps all other factors for me.
I'll trade the truck drivers giving me dumb looks vs. me giving 4 wheeler's dirty looks any day.

We use a AAA credit card dedicated to fuel purchases only, swipe at the pump only authorized to recieve our 5% discount for the security and accounting. AAA has phoned me within seconds when we attempted to use the card outside our stated $ limits or geography. Good for them!
We do have an 80 gal reserve tank so with the trucks 34 gal we have 12 -1400 mi. between fueling when towing. When we do fuel, we do it where we wish, at the price we wish. The tank has paid for itself many times over in savings and convenience.
