It's not what the ram can tow as it's more than capable of towing way more than what you plan, it's about what the truck can carry in pin weight. Most Ram owners don't realize how heavy the Cummins engine is and how little "payload" it has when the weight of the truck is subtracted from the trucks GVWR especially with a Ram 2500. If it doesn't bother you then that's ok I was just pointing out a fact most diesel ram owners are unaware of as it has bitten me a couple of times now.:)
